Basketball

The SMU men's basketball team was eliminated from the WAC Tournament Thursday by the University of Nevada at Reno, 72-66.

Senior guard Damon Hancock led all scorers with 28 points and a team-high of five rebounds.

The Mustangs swept Nevada in the regular season but failed to eliminate the Wolfpack from the Tournament.
